Lockdown Nature Film
It’s an unusual time for everyone right now, especially the wedding industry. I’ve already written an article about Coronavirus, which gives advice to couples about postponing their weddings and what I can do to help. So you might be wondering why I am writing another blog about lockdown…
This time I wanted to share something a little more light-hearted.
Last week, after more than a month in lockdown, I started to feel a creative itch that needed to be scratched. There were no upcoming weddings to film and I was concerned about the long-term repercussions of my newfound creative outlet… baking.
So I decided to make a short film about the nature around my family home in Bournemouth (I returned from London to Bournemouth during lockdown to self-isolate with my Mum – shout out to Mum!).
I woke up early so that I could sunrise and I began walking around the local area. I filmed everything that took my interest. It felt like every turn revealed something beautiful. The landscape and conditions did most of the work for me. All I needed to do was press record.
Anyway, that’s enough waffle from me! I hope you are all finding your own ways to flex your creativity during lockdown and enjoy the film.
