I would describe my videography style as emotive, contemporary and fun. Weddings are amazing, emotional days and I want you to remember the uncontrollable laughter and tear-jerking moments in equal measures. I take a quiet approach on the day and let your day unfold naturally with very little direction. I use small microphones to record audio and I occasionally use lights, but I always have them hidden as best as I can.
Andy in a Nutshell
Capturing weddings is the most incredible occupation! In my spare time you will probably still find me with my camera in hand. I was born and raised in Dorset, but I am lucky enough to have lived abroad. I developed much of my video skills whilst travelling and living in the Alps and that’s influences my approach to filming. I also love cheese boards, own the world’s best dog and I have a wonderful girlfriend.
My style requires small and powerful gear. I film with the Sony a7iii, the Sony a7sii and a Sony a6300. They are well regarded as some of the most compact and powerful event videography cameras. All film in 4K and are capable of filming in low light situations. I use small microphones and I occasionally use discreet lights if I feel it enhances your wedding film!
There’s nothing more enjoyable than seeing a message ping into my inbox from a happy bride and groom. Feel free to take a look at some of the kind reviews that have been kindly sent to me. You can also see more reviews on Google or Facebook.
